Welcome to SKW Metallurgie
“SKW Metallurgie“ is the joint product brand of SKW Metallurgy Sweden AB, based in Sundsvall (Sweden), and of SKW Stahl-Metallurgie GmbH, based in Unterneukirchen (Germany). Our two companies operate jointly and focus mainly on the European markets for the following products and services:
For the gas industry:
- gas carbide for the production of acetylene gas
For the steel industry:
- hot metal desulphurization
- powder and granules for steel refinement (secondary metallurgy)
SKW Stahl-Metallurgie GmbH, based in Unterneukirchen (Germany), has developed from the metallurgical business of the former company “SKW Trostberg AG”. SKW Stahl-Metallurgie GmbH’s experienced engineers are focused on adding value to their clients’ metallurgical processes and challenges.
SKW Metallurgy Sweden AB, based in Sundsvall (Sweden), has developed from the former Carbide Sweden AB. It operates its own calcium carbide production plant in Sweden, and can therefore ensure its clients a reliable supply of high-quality products.
Both SKW Metallurgy Sweden AB and SKW Stahl-Metallurgie GmbH, are 100% affiliates of SKW Stahl-Metallurgie Holding AG, and thereby part of the global SKW Metallurgie Group.
